Серр Шевалье состоит из цепочки маленьких горных деревушек и одного города, объединенных в группы по высоте своего положения: Бриансон – 1200 м, Шантемерль – 1350 м, Вильнев – 1400 м, Монетье ле Бейнс – 1500 метров. Бриансон – достаточно большой и интересный город со средневековой историей. В его центре расположена крепость.

Всего в регионе Серр Шевалье 250 км самых разнообразных трасс. Продвинутые лыжники и эксперты найдут здесь для себя немало интересного. Примерно половина трасс, расположенных ниже 2200 метров, проходит по лесу. Леса, покрывающие склоны здешних гор, состоят из могучих вековых лиственниц, и спуск под ними доставляет незабываемые ощущения.

Уроженец этих мест Люк Альфанд - призёр Зимней Олимпиады. В его честь названа «черная» трасса – «l'Olympique Luc Alphand». Ниже расположен слаломный стадион.
 
В Серр Шевалье настоящий рай для сноубордеров: три сноупарка (1200 м, 1350 м, 1400 м), 800-метровый хаф-пайп на 1400 м, трасса для кросса. Ещё есть квотерпайп в Бриансоне.

Имеет смысл посетить Термы Монетье с ваннами и бассейном, наполняемыми водой из горячего источника. Часть бассейна находится под открытым небом, обязательно поплавайте там во время снегопада.
